A dominant performance and a new school record placed Harvard alone at the top of the Ivy League standings. On Saturday, the Crimson defeated Dartmouth 31–10 at Harvard Stadium, improving to 7–0 overall and 4–0 in the conference. Dartmouth fell to 5–2, 2–2 in Ivy play.
Quarterback Jaden Craig delivered a standout game, firing passes through strong winds and setting a new Harvard record for career touchdown throws.
“Craig, a senior, threw four touchdown passes. His third, a nine-yarder to sophomore tight end Logan Reaska, was his 42nd for Harvard, breaking the record previously held by Neil Rose ’03.”
With three games left this season, Craig has the opportunity to extend his record even further.
Harvard’s defense, anchored by junior linebacker Sean Line, stifled Dartmouth’s potent offense. Line matched a game-high 12 tackles, helping to limit Dartmouth to just 261 total yards. The Big Green’s rushing game managed only 61 yards.
Following this victory, Harvard advanced three spots in the national Stats Performance Football Championship Series Poll, underscoring their unbeaten momentum heading into the final stretch.
