Teen Vogue Merges With Vogue.com

Teen Vogue will maintain its name and mission as it merges with Vogue.com, with Vogue editorial content head Chloe Malle overseeing the combined site. Versha Sharma, Teen Vogue’s editor-in-chief, is set to leave the company following the integration, announced Monday.

Chloe Malle will manage both brands under Condé Nast to expand the overall reach, while Teen Vogue will continue to have its distinct identity and focus within the Vogue umbrella.

“I remember when Teen Vogue launched, I read every page on the bus home from cross-country practice,” Malle said Monday. “I loved it then and I love and respect it now and am committed to continuing and supporting its point of view and sensibility.”

No specific date was provided for Sharma’s departure.

This change reflects Vogue’s intention to prioritize younger readers, as younger audiences have contributed significantly to digital growth. They now constitute more than half of Vogue’s social media followers and YouTube viewers.

“As the media industry changes so quickly, we are thrilled to have Teen Vogue join the Vogue platform, allowing its content to reach a larger audience and inspire young people globally,” said Anna Wintour, global chief content officer for Condé Nast and global editorial director of Vogue.

“We’re so grateful for Versha’s leadership and the impact she’s had during her time at Teen Vogue.”

Summary: Teen Vogue merges with Vogue.com under Chloe Malle’s leadership, aiming to strengthen its reach and maintain its unique voice while focusing on younger audiences driving digital growth.
