Remembrance Sunday is a time to honor all who have defended freedom and safeguarded our way of life. Ceremonies and parades take place in various towns to commemorate their service and sacrifice.
The parade begins at 10:25 a.m. on Sunday, November 9, in Adare Street, followed by a memorial service at 10:45 a.m. at the war memorial in Dunraven Place.
At 10:00 a.m., St Theodore’s Church on High Street hosts a service. This is followed by the laying of wreaths at the Kenfig Hill War Memorial on Prince Road at 10:50 a.m., with a moment of silence observed at 11:00 a.m.
A short ceremony is held from 10:50 a.m. to 11:10 a.m. at Williams Memorial Hall, Coychurch, as a tribute to those who served.
