The competition on Season 28 of The Voice continued on Monday, November 3, as the Knockout Rounds pressed forward. Coaches Reba McEntire, Niall Horan, Snoop Dogg, and Michael Bublé faced tough choices while cutting their teams down one artist at a time.
There were no opportunities for Saves or Steals this round, making each decision final. However, each coach had a single Mic Drop to use, allowing one chosen performer a chance to sing at the Rose Parade on New Year’s Day. Viewers will later vote for their favorite among the four Mic Drop artists.
Michael Bublé initiated the very first Mic Drop in the show's history, adding a twist of excitement to an already intense episode.
Snoop Dogg began the night with Toni Lorene and Natalia Albertini, both strong competitors he had saved in the Battle Rounds. Natalia performed Stevie Wonder’s classic “I Wish,” while Toni took on the powerhouse number “Lady Marmalade.”
“Natalia, your performance was spectacular, you’re gorgeous, I love your outfit. I guess if I had to pick one, I think I’d go with Natalia,” said Reba McEntire.
Niall Horan called Toni a “machine” and added, “The stuff you can do with your voice … there’s something special about you.” He and Bublé both said they’d “lean towards” choosing Toni.
“I am a proud uncle,” Snoop gushed.
As the Knockout stage moves toward the Playoffs, the stakes have risen dramatically, leaving fans eager to see which singers will shine next.
Episode 11 of The Voice Season 28 delivered high-intensity Knockouts, with Michael Bublé making history by using the first Mic Drop to secure a spot in the Rose Parade lineup.
