The iconic rock band AC/DC announced their Power Up tour earlier this year, marking their first Australian return in ten years. When tickets for their Melbourne Cricket Ground show on November 12 went on sale, overwhelming demand led to the immediate addition of a second and final date on November 16.
Both shows are currently available through Ticketek, with newly released tickets now on sale. However, fans should act fast, as these limited production releases are expected to sell quickly.
After selling two million tickets across 24 European shows and selling out 10 North American dates, AC/DC is bringing their stadium-filling performance back to their homeland. The band finished their Cleveland show in May before starting a major European leg in Prague on June 26, covering locations from Estonia to Scotland.

The current AC/DC lineup features founding guitarist Angus Young, vocalist Brian Johnson, rhythm guitarist Stevie Young, drummer Matt Laug, and bassist Chris Chaney. Melbourne punk rock band Amyl and the Sniffers have been announced as the support act for all tour dates, gaining recognition for their praised album Cartoon Darkness.
AC/DC’s Power Up tour returns to Australia with added Melbourne dates, following a highly successful international run and featuring a dynamic lineup and strong local support.
