Former football star Alex Scott is reportedly heading to Australia to join this year's cast of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here. The 41-year-old, known for her impressive career with the Lionesses and her success as a BBC presenter, could be about to make a significant career move.
Alex had an illustrious career on the pitch, playing for Arsenal, Birmingham City, and in the United States. She earned 140 caps representing England and was a member of Team GB at the London 2012 Olympics. After retiring from playing, she transitioned into sports punditry, including work on Match of the Day.
Away from her professional life, Alex once went on a memorable date with Coronation Street actor Sam Robertson in 2020. They shared a candlelit dinner at an upscale Soho restaurant in London, but the experience did not go smoothly.
“I never seem to have a lot of luck on dates,” Alex admitted. “My one date in ages was going out with Sam [Robertson], who is lovely.”
She also told The Sun’s Fabulous magazine:
“The next morning, our pictures were all over the press because someone in the restaurant had taken a photo.”
Despite the press attention, the date remains a memorable chapter in her off-screen life.
Author's summary: Alex Scott, acclaimed footballer and presenter, is set to appear on I'm A Celebrity, with a personal past marked by a notable date with actor Sam Robertson.
