Megyn Kelly slams Sydney Sweeney's daring dress: 'I object, it's completely see-through'

Megyn Kelly criticizes Sydney Sweeney's revealing dress

Conservative commentator Megyn Kelly sharply criticized actress Sydney Sweeney for her daring outfit at Variety's Power of Women event, calling the look inappropriate.

“I object to this,” Kelly said on her Sirius XM show. “I disapprove of the dress because it’s completely see-through.”

During the broadcast, the 54-year-old host discussed the matter with Christian conservative podcaster Allie Beth Stuckey. Both agreed that the 28-year-old Euphoria star is beautiful and has a stunning figure, but Kelly described Sweeney’s wardrobe choice as a rare misstep.

Though Kelly admitted she is a fan of Sweeney, particularly admiring her American Eagle campaign, she said the outfit reminded her of Kim Kardashian’s tendency to overshare.

“She reminded me of Kim Kardashian, who over shares and then removes the mystery — the thing that makes a woman most attractive — leaving little to the imagination,” Kelly said.

A mother of a young daughter, Kelly also added that she hopes her child will look up to women who express their beauty with confidence but avoid objectification.
