On 26 November, Netflix’s Stranger Things will begin its long-awaited three-part farewell. Thanksgiving Day will launch the first four episodes of season eight, followed by another three episodes on Christmas Day. The finale will air on New Year’s Eve, marking the end of the streaming platform’s most successful original series.
This finale concludes a decade-long journey for David Harbour, who gained international recognition playing Hawkins, Indiana’s police chief, Jim Hopper. The ending of the series has drawn significant media attention throughout late 2025.
Harbour’s media presence intensified last week when a surprise album dropped, increasing the spotlight on him dramatically.
