The Indian Cricket Team skipper continued his good form with the bat in tests, setting the stage on fire after walking out to bat in the last session of day one.
Gill looked solid from the start, opening his account with a brilliant boundary, and made sure to continue his golden run with the bat in the series after slamming a brilliant fifty in the first match in Ahmedabad.
He provided great support to Yashasvi Jaiswal, who played an innings of 175 runs off 258 balls, and then unleashed himself with magical shots after Jaiswal's run out.
