Middlesbrough will honor those who served and died in conflicts around the world. Elected Mayor Chris Cooke will lay the first poppy at the Cenotaph on Linthorpe Road at 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, November 6.
Students from local schools will place poppy crosses on the Field of Remembrance in tribute to the fallen.
The Remembrance Sunday Parade and Service will take place on Sunday, November 9, with the participation of the Mayor and civic leaders. The parade begins at 10:30 a.m., proceeding to the Cenotaph for the service, which will conclude around 12:30 p.m.

The Armistice Day Service will be held at the Cenotaph on Tuesday, November 11, starting at 10:45 a.m. A two-minute silence will be observed to honor all who gave their lives in service.
The services will be conducted by Reverend David Goodhew, Vicar of St Barnabas Church in Middlesbrough.
