Filly's Racing Background
Trained by Ciaron Maher, Morisu Ojo is a daughter of Maurice (Screen Hero). She made a strong impression with a brilliant maiden win in September. She then finished a bold sixth in the Super Impose Stakes (Listed, 1800m) at Flemington, a race featuring colts and geldings.
She finished only 1.7 lengths behind the winner Options (Impending), who is a $12 chance in the upcoming Victoria Derby (Gr 1, 2500m).
In her most recent race, the Ethereal Stakes (Gr 3, 2000m), she closed strongly and is now rated a $15 prospect for the $1 million VRC Oaks, which takes place just a day after the sale ends.

He added, "We’ve offered shares in a Melbourne Cup runner before, but never an Oaks contender in this fashion. Ciaron Maher has a strong opinion of Morisu Ojo, so to have the opportunity to buy in literally a day before she runs in the VRC Oaks is an incredible scenario."
