Remembrance Sunday falls on 9 November this year, with various events across Bracknell Forest to honor those who served and sacrificed for our freedoms.
The Royal British Legion’s Poppy Shop is open at The Lexicon Bracknell (next to River Island) until Friday 7 November, from 10am to 4pm for purchases.
Giant poppies have been installed throughout Bracknell Forest over the past week and will remain until after Armistice Day, symbolizing gratitude to armed forces, their families, and veterans.
Bracknell Town Council will hold a Remembrance Parade on Sunday 9 November, starting at 10:40am outside Princess Square. The parade will proceed through the town center and The Lexicon Bracknell.
Everyone is invited to line the parade route and pay respects. Attendees should allow extra time for travel and parking and note that photography will take place during the event.

On Monday 10 November, Bracknell Town FC will host Didcot Town in the Bucks and Berks County Cup at the SB Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 7:45pm.
