German leisure airline Condor has concluded 35 years of operating the Boeing 757 with a special farewell flight on November 5, 2025. The last aircraft in its fleet, a Boeing 757-300 registered as D-ABOM, flew over 100 passengers on a round trip from Frankfurt to Vienna before being retired from service.
For more than three decades, the slender Boeing 757 was the core of Condor's short and medium-haul operations. The airline operated a total of 27 Boeing 757 aircraft, including 18 of the 757-200 model and nine of the longer 757-300, according to ch-aviation.
In recent weeks, most remaining Boeing 757s were retired and ferried to Cotswold Airport in the UK for dismantling. The farewell flight featured the last 757-300, sporting a distinctive red-and-white candy-striped livery.
"The flight between Frankfurt and Vienna carried long-standing staff, journalists, and dedicated Boeing 757 fans."
Seventy-five tickets for the final flight were auctioned online by Condor in September 2025, giving enthusiasts a chance to be part of the historic event.
The Boeing 757's pencil-like silhouette was a defining image of Condor’s fleet for over 30 years, marking the end of an era in the airline's history.
