WI Members Maintain Poppy Tribute in Trysull

Trysull and Seisdon WI members once again decorated the war memorial at Trysull church with poppies. This marks the fourth consecutive year that they have organized the Remembrance Day poppy display at this location.

The members dedicated much effort to knitting thousands of poppies as a tribute to those who sacrificed their lives during the war. Additionally, some purple poppies were included to honor the animals who served and died alongside soldiers.

After washing and drying, several members carefully tied the poppies onto fresh netting before securing the display to the memorial.

During the installation, many passers-by complimented the tribute, noting its beauty.

A fitting tribute to all those who gave their lives.
