Canon Malaysia Unveils EOS R6 Mark III and RF45mm F1.2 STM Lens
Canon Malaysia has introduced the EOS R6 Mark III full-frame mirrorless camera and the RF45mm F1.2 STM prime lens, with the EOS R6 Mark III now available for pre-orders.
EOS R6 Mark III Camera Features
- Equipped with a 32.5-megapixel sensor for improved resolution and cropping flexibility
- Supports continuous shooting at up to 40 frames per second using the electronic shutter
- Mechanical shutter allows up to 12 frames per second
- Pre-continuous shooting captures up to 20 frames before the shutter is fully pressed
- Enhanced autofocus algorithms with Register People Priority for focused tracking of selected individuals in groups or events
Advanced Video Capabilities
- Internal 7K 60p RAW recording support
- 3:2 Open Gate recording up to 7K 30p RAW for expanded post-production and reframing options
- Simultaneous proxy recording to SD cards
- Expanded format options including Canon Log 2 and HLG gamma
- Compatible with Cinema EOS Custom Picture profiles
RF45mm F1.2 STM Lens
Alongside the EOS R6 Mark III, Canon launched the RF45mm F1.2 STM, a large aperture standard prime lens. Canon highlights it as the widest-aperture non-professional lens the company has introduced.
